GF Nut 'N Seed Bread

I love making fresh homemade bread. It makes our home smell like a bakery. Nothing beats warm, moist bread fresh out of the oven! I don't know which melts quicker my mouth or the butter!

This bread is oil free, dairy free, gluten free, vegan, yeast free and is incredibly tasty! It's really easy to make and is a for sure keeper in our home!

Servings: 16 slices  Prep time: 10 min Bake Time: 30-35 min Total Time: 45 min

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 3/4 cup arrowroot powder
  • 1/4 cup golden flax-meal
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 4 "eggs" (flax meal/ water)
  • 1 tsp agave nectar
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1/3 cup cranberries
  • 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds
Directions:
  1. In medium bowl combine almond milk, arrowroot powder, flax meal, sea salt and baking soda.
  2. In large bowl blend "eggs" until frothy
  3. Stir agave and vinegar into eggs
  4. Mix dry into wet
  5. Scoop into well greased loaf pan
  6. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Cool, slice and serve!

Homemade Vegan Wheat Bread - Yeast Free

Homemade wheat bread, warm from the oven, sliced fresh. The aroma is to die for. Is it worth it? Yes! There is something so satisfying about making things from scratch, seeing how simple ingredients make such a delicious and nutritious staple for the house. This bread is vegan, yeast free, whole wheat, moist and absolutely delicious! Enjoy! 



Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ cups Almond Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar
  • 2 cups whole-wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup unbleached flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup Coconut Nectar (Low Glycemic Index)
  • ½ cup cranberries
Directions: 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray loaf pan with olive oil spray or other nonstick spray
  3. Mix almond milk and vinegar and set aside.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  5. Add the milk and vinegar mixture, coconut nectar and cranberries. Stir until combined.
  6. Bake for one hour.
  7. Remove from pan, cool on rack, slice and dig in!
